The Property: A charming setting for this old stone house that sleeps 7 (+ an infant) in three bedrooms, with a spectacular pool. The property is not overlooked - it is private and secluded without being isolated. Set in over 3 acres with olive trees, fruit trees, meadow and woodland. Sandy beaches, lakes, gorges and tourist sites easily accessible and all within 20 miles. Nice airport just under an hour away.

Extra information: The house has towels and linen provided. In the kitchen, there is 2 ring stove, dish washer, freezer, fridge, grill, hob, microwave, oven and washing machine. The living room has a fireplace and seating for 8 people. The dining area has seating for 8 people. There are 2 shower rooms and 2. There are 3 bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 room with 3 beds, 1 cot) and they sleep a maximum of 7 people. For entertainment there is an audio tape player, a cd player, a radio, satellite or cable, tv and video player.

Outside, there is a barbecue, garden, parking swimming pool, terrace, 8 garden chairs and 8 beach chairs. Children welcome, long term renters welcome, pets not allowed, wheelchair inaccessible.

Local activities include cycling, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, swimming, tennis, walking, lounging round the pool!

The farmhouse has been the French owner's home for over 25 years. Unforgettable old world charm. The higgledy piggledy layout adds to its character! All modern conveniences, plenty of storage and fully equipped for normal family living. Beamed, open plan kitchen (door to covered barbecue terrace) has hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Large dining area with doors to covered terrace. Very comfortable sitting room with Sat TV/video etc, log fire and doors to a covered terrace. The spacious main bedroom has doors to its own terrace, and an en suite shower room/WC. The large second double bedroom, and the triple bedded room share a shower room and separate WC. A basement houses the utility room, with washing machine, second fridge and ice maker. The pool is 5m x 10m and drops from 1.5m to 3m deep at the diving end - IT CANNOT BE SEEN FROM THE HOUSE? AND NOR CAN THE POOL ALARM BE HEARD FROM THE HOUSE. Well lit built-in barbecue. Boules areas. Ample shady parking.

Location: Figanieres is a mediaeval village nestled between the pines and the vines - one of the most scenic areas in the Heart of Provence. The farmhouse is a 5 minute drive from the village. The A8 Autoroute is 15 minutes away, and gives easy access to the whole of the French Riviera.

Travelling: The nearest international airports is Nice at 55 miles. The nearest beach is 20 miles. The nearest railway station is Les Arcs at 15 miles. Nearest motorway junction is Le Muy at 15 kilometres. Car is necessary

Notes to the Rental rates:
The rent includes linen, house towels, pool towels, gas and electricity. English friend taking the bookings for French owners who will be overseas.
25% Reservation Fee is paid by way of an advance of rent. The balance is due 6 weeks before the rental period begins, together with a Returnable Security Deposit of 700 euros (approx £500) for possible breakages etc. This Deposit is returned 2 days after your holiday.
