The Property: This apartment accommodates 2 (and up to 4) and is in a very quiet and calm position, in the best residential road on Mont Boron, the most sought after part of Nice. The apartment is in a small, modern private building surrounded by mature gardens, with palm trees and other flora that flourish in this warm climate. Testament to this is the fact that Nice holds its Carnival of Flowers parades and Mardi Gras festival every year in February.

There is a charming living room with a full width balcony and a beautiful view of the Mediterranean, the Bay of Angels, the Chateau Hill and the town. The living room and hall have marble floors, there is a kitchen "Americaine", a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, and a well fitted separate bathroom with shower facility and toilet. Also there is a luxury sofa in the living room, which converts into a bed to sleep two more people if required. CD/tape player/radio, TV and DVD player.

But what is especially appealing about this 2nd floor apartment is that, because the building is set into the hillside, it benefits not only from a balcony and a lovely south-west view to the front, but unusually it has to the side, with access direct from the bedroom, its own delightful and totally secluded private and level, mature patio garden, measuring approximately 10m x 4m. It has an orange tree, lemon tree, rhododendrons, lavender etc and is equipped with outdoor tables, chairs and sunbeds - a real haven.

Garage in a separate block and unrestricted day time and night time parking right outside the apartments - almost unique along the whole of the French Riviera. It is a 15 minute stroll to the beaches, marina, old port surrounded by a marvellous selection of charming restaurants, the Chateau Hill and Park, the Old Town, Floral Market, Antiques Quarter and the Promenade des Anglais. For those who prefer not to walk nor take a car, there is a bus stop at 100 metres.

Extra information: Garage in a separate block and unrestricted day time and night time parking right outside the apartments - almost unique along the whole of the French Riviera. Location: Nice is a warm, vibrant, fascinating and highly cultural resort city at the heart of the French Riviera. It offers a thousand delights and surprises for everyone who has the opportunity to get to know it: enjoy the world famous Promenade des Anglais and the Negresco (Wedding Cake) Hotel, the Russian church and all the other wonderful architectural sites and attractions, the Sardinian neighbourhoods around the old Port, the Victorian avenues of Cimiez, and the breath-taking panorama at Mont Boron.

Not to be missed are the narrow, fascinating streets of the Old Town (Vieux Nice), the footpaths that link up the hills, casual strolls around deluxe boutiques in the town's pedestrian areas, the colourful Flower Market (Cours Saleya), the peaceful and relaxing Chateau Hill overlooking the stunning Bay of Angels and, of course, the Antiques Quarter. You must see the beautiful Place Massena with its impressive fountains, the 18th century Place Garibaldi and all the other picturesque garden squares. If you love to laze on the beach there are more than a dozen to choose from. If its the nightlife and the casinos you`re after, there`s plenty of that too. Also, Nice must have more than a thousand restaurants, brasseries, bars and cafes each with its own unique atmosphere and ambience and you will certainly have great fun in discovering your own favourites!

Nice is second only to Paris in the whole of France for the number and variety of its museums, galleries and exhibitions; it has a wonderful Opera House, similar to La Scala, several concert halls and countless attractions to suit every possible taste and interest that would take you months to fully explore. Two miles in the other direction, couple this with the old town and beautiful bay of Villefranche sur Mer and the spectacular peninsular of Cap Ferrat, and you have everything your heart could desire. These are without doubt our three favourite places on the whole of the French Riviera (and in the world) and they are all next to each other!

Travelling: Every day of the year there are flights from all over the UK, and other parts of the world, direct to Nice. By taxi, hire car or private car, all of self catering apartments are conveniently within ten minutes of Nice Airport. Nice is the perfect central location from which to visit (by car, bus or train) Monaco, Monte Carlo and Menton, a few miles east along the seashore. And to the west, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, Cannes and St. Tropez. Inland is Grasse, the famous perfume capital of the world, and countless enchanting hill-top villages. There are many ski resorts within an hour's drive.
