The Property: This 150-year-old, old stone house was completely renovated in 2002 to provide you with all the modern comforts in a unique and secluded atmosphere.

This three-bedroom, three-bathroom house will accommodate up to eight people with a swimming pool and a gazebo overlooking a nearly 360-degree panorama view over the island. A fully-equipped kitchen, an exterior barbecue, and the fireplaces will provide all you need for cooking the fresh seafood you bring back from the local market. Antique furniture combined with the latest in technology will guarantee you the perfect gateway in this Island of Gods.

Our house is located in the traditional village of Katouna, famous for its wonderful olive oil, mountain honey, and superb wine. This fully-restored, rock-walled house overlooks the entire bay of the Lefkada. Here you can enjoy the cooler mountain air during the hot summer months, while having a refreshing drink by the private pool.

Many visitors choose this village for its picturesque charm of its little streets where children can run and cycle without a car in the vicinity. The local tavern has special old-world charm and cuisine that specialize in fresh seafood as well as many other homemade Mediterranean dishes and wines. On weekends and special occasions, live Greek music invites you to join the fun of dancing under the stars.

Location: The most beautiful, white, sand beaches and crystal-clear water are found here. You can visit the famous Castle of Santa Maura, right next to the channel built by John Orsini in 1300. You can visit other local villages by following the eastern coast road that passes through the villages of Ligia, Nikiana, and Nidri, one of the most popular holiday spots on the island. Continuing on the road you will come to Vassiliki and Agios Nikita, picturesque fishing villages. Nearby Karia is known for its traditional embroidery. From Nidri you can take a short ferry ride to Megenassi, Sparti, Maduro, and Scorpios.
