The Property: A newly restored semi-detached villa with its own private garden area and barbecue. The house has been converted from a typical Portuguese cottage and has the bedroom area with double bed on a mezzanine floor. The shower room apart from the normal facilities has the luxury of a 'Jacuzzi' shower with room for two. The lounge has a bed settee to cater for an additional two guests. The owner lives close at hand and is always happy to help with information or entertainment. Collection and return to Faro airport can be arranged for a reasonable charge.

Extra information: The farmhouse (50 m²) has a jacuzzi, towels and linen provided. In the kitchen, there is a 4 ring stove, a fridge, clothes dryer, kitchenette, microwave, washing machine and oven. The living room has a sofabed, seating for 4 people The dining area has seating for 4 people. There is 1 shower room. There is 1 bedroom (1 sleeping gallery) and they sleep a maximum of 4 people. For entertainment, there is an audio tape player, radio and tv.

Outside, there is a barbecue, balcony, garden, parking, terrace, 4 garden chairs and 1 beach chair. Children welcome, long term renters welcome, pets not allowed, unsuitable for elderly or infirm, wheelchair inaccessible.

Local activities include: fishing, golf, horse riding, paragliding, sailing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing, Bird watching, Water parks, Zoomarine, Crazy World Zoo.

Location: The Medieval town of Silves with its historic castle is only a few minutes drive away. The town has been carefully modernised and is full of character and good bars and restaurants. The area is the heart of the Algarvian fruit growing industry and borders on the highest mountains in the region, Monchique, there are countless fine walks to try in the area with grading from novice to expert. Water features strongly in the area with several natural and man-made lakes, some with sport facilities. Monchique is famous for its spas, long believed to have great powers of healing. For the more active seekers of entertainment, the coastal area is the finest beach area that you will wish to find. Ranging from beaches several miles in length to small hard to reach coves. Bars, restaurants and nightclubs to suit all tastes are within easy reach and on the coast, taxis are plentiful.

Travelling: The nearest international airports is Faro at 65 kilometres. The nearest beach is 10 kilometres. Nearest railway station: Alcantarilha at 2 kilometres. Nearest motorway junction: A22 J7 at 5 kilometres. Car is recommended
