The Property: This brand new villa (sleeps 7) with a gas heated, private pool has it all. From CENTRAL air and heat to magnificent views of the sea and the castle of Salobreña from the south side of the villa and awe - inspiring views of the snow covered Sierra Nevada mountains from the east side. This is the closest one can get to heaven on earth!

Villa Monte Mar has easy access from the street and private parking. Upon entering the villa, you are greeted with the amazing views. On the entry level, there is an eat-in kitchen, lounge, dining room, cloak room and an ample balcony where one can sit and enjoy the great climate and views that we are blessed with. Downstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom and en-suite bath are very spacious and luxurious. Our previous guests have been pleasantly surprised by how well equipped and nicely decorated the villa is.

This is not a typical rental property in any way. Everything you will need to enjoy has been provided from comfortable beds to satellite TV, DVD player, sun loungers, a gas barbeque & tables/chairs for outdoor dining. Villa Monte Mar is located in a very quiet area within an established residential community. It is perfect for those who want to unwind. Beaches, restaurants & shops are only 5 minutes away. Villa Monte Mar was just completed in February 2004. It is now available to rent. Book now as this is proving to be a run away hit!

Extra information: The villa has air conditioning and central heating. It has 3 bedrooms (1 king, 2 double bedrooms). It has a comfortable sofa bed for one. All bedrooms have access to the terrace. Sleeps 7 in total. There are 2.5 bathrooms. The master bathroom has a double vanity, a walk-in shower and a inviting tub for two. The second bathroom is spacious and has a walk-in shower. The cloak room is done beautifully with rustic Spanish ceramic tile. It is conveniently located on the entry level near the lounge, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped, all electric with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, juicer, washing machine, iron/board. The living rooms has a large open plan lounge and dining area. The lounge seats 7. Dining room table seats 6. Satellite TV/radio, DVD, portable radio, cassette and CD player, books.

Linen and towels (including beach towels) are provided. Maid service during visit can be arranged if desired.

Outside, the villa has a fantastic swimming pool. It is a conch shaped, heated private swimming pool that is perfect for year round enjoyment. The villa has 200 plus meters of tiled terraces around the pool with outdoor table and chairs, sun loungers and gas BBQ. Terraces are off the lounge and all the bedrooms with table and chairs for al fresco dining & enjoyment of the wonderful views. In the garden, we have table tennis with racquets for the exclusive use of our guests. Guests also have free access to the private, community recreation area that includes tennis court, football field, large pool, children´s pool, playground, and table tennis.

Location: Salobrena, dazzling and white, in the heart of the Costa Tropical, situated on a hilltop overlooking the Mediterranean. It is one of the prettiest towns in southern Spain with its winding narrow streets and magnificent Moorish castle perched high on the hill. The scenery ranges from lush sugar cane, fruit plantations, rugged snow-capped mountains, coves and beaches, pine forests and almond groves. The area enjoys a sub-tropical climate, with a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius in winter & 25 degrees in summer, allowing for year round enjoyment of the nearby golf course and the various beaches spread over 19 kilometres of coastline.

Opportunities for walking, climbing, water sports (the beach is only 5 minutes away), golf (only 10 minutes to the nearest course), horse riding, hang gliding and even skiing in the Sierra Nevada. Nearby mountain villages await to be discovered where it seems as if time has stopped. Granada, the Moorish capital with the breathtaking Alhambra Palace and relaxing thermal spas are only 45 minutes away, Malaga 1 hr, Nerja 30 minutes, Almunecar waterpark 15 minutes. You won´t be bored here, unless you just want to sit by the pool and take in the views!

There is inexpensive excellent seafood, wines and local markets offering superb fresh produce. The owners live in the area and provide useful information on everything from sight seeing and entertainment options to restaurant and shopping.

Friday is our preferred changeover day in Villa Monte Mar.There is a 30% deposit when booking.The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. Payment via bank transfer or Visa/Mastercard (2% surcharge). Security deposit of € 400 payable upon arrival. Pool heating optional. Charge based on oil consumed.
