The Property: The apartment (Sleeps 6) is situated on the brand new 'Los Altos' development, alongside the elevated 15th tee of the North Course with fantastic views over the resort and the Sierra de Mijas.

Our apartment is situated on the Los Altos complex adjacent to the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, driving range and par 3 course.The accomodation is all on one level on the elevated ground floor with lift access from underground parking right to the front door. Guest's privacy on the complex is protected by security gates which can be remotely operated from the apartment.

The apartment has been furnished to a very high standard by a local interior design company and for your comfort both A/C and heating are provided throughout.

The spacious living area, is equipped with sofa seating and dining for 6 people, satellite tv, dvd and cd hi-fi system. The patio doors open out onto a large terrace overlooking the beautiful pool area with a backdrop of the whole golf resort, the Sierra de Mijas and the coast. This terrace has been furnished with a large table and chairs for outdoor dining. A selection of dvd's, cd's, books, board games and travel guides are provided for your enjoyment.

Extra information: The apartment (155 m²) has air-conditioning and central heating, with linen and towels provided, a safe and a sunbed. In the kitchen, there is a dishwasher, a freezer, a fridge, a grill, an oven and a washing machine. In the living room, there is seating for 6 people. The dining area has seating for 6 people. There are 2 bathrooms and 1 shower room. There are 3 bedrooms (3 twins) and they sleep a maximum of 6 people. For entertainment, there is an audio tape player,a cd player, a radio, satellite or cable, a stereo system. Outside, there is a balcony, a garage, a swimming pool, terrace and 10 garden chairs. Children are welcome, pets not allowed, unsuitable for elderly or infirm, wheelchair accessible . Local activities include: cycling, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, sailing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing, golf academy and driving range, gymnasium, sauna, squash, athletics, soccer, rugby.

Location: The 5 star La Cala Resort has established itself as one of the premier golf resorts on the Costa del Sol. This exclusive and tranquil resort is situated in the spectactular hinterland of the Sierra de Mijas between Malaga and Marbella, less than 10 minutes from the quaint coastal town of La Cala de Mijas.

With two championship standard golf courses and a third course due to open Spring 2005, a David Leadbetter Golf academy with adjoining driving range and a six hole par 3 'Executive' course, La Cala Golf Resort appeals to the golfing enthusiast, the novice and golfing families alike.

If golfing isn't your thing you may prefer to relax in the ambience of the resort's five star hotel or visit the new state of the art Spa Complex (due to open Spring 2005), appreciate the breathtaking scenery whilst stopping for a Sangria at the clubhouse, playing some tennis, sunbathing with a book by the pool, hiring a bike and exploring the surrounding hillside or taking in the scenery on horseback. The local town, La Cala de Mijas is just 7 km away, where there are numerous shops and restaurants, a local market on Saturdays, a long sandy beach offering watersports activities and many beach bars.

The nearest international airport is Malaga which is about 35 km from the resort and is reached in less than 30 minutes by car. The nearest beach is 7 kilometres away. The nearest railway station is at Fuengirola which is 15 kilometres away. A car is necessary.

Notes to the rental rates
Short stay breaks available and are charged as follows: 3 nights at 60% of rate above; 4 nights at 75% of rate above; 5 nights at 85% of rate above; more than 5 nights weekly rate

Rental rates shown above are per week and are charged in pounds sterling. Sunday changeover is preferred but some flexibility in changeover days and additional nights is usually possible, please ask.

We can provisionally reserve dates for you whilst you arrange your flights. A non-refundable deposit of £150 per week booked is required to secure the accommodation and the balance is due 8 weeks before departure.

A caution deposit of £150 is also required along with your final payment. This is repayable to you at the end of your holiday as soon as we have confirmation from Spain that no damage has occurred.
