The Property: Villa is an English owned & run guesthouse set in a landscaped garden featuring lemon, mandarin, orange, peach, apricot, pear & olive trees. The continental breakfast is served informally 'al fresco' style on a huge pine table. The garden features a gazebo where guests often enjoy their lunch or evening drinks. Deck chairs are also available. The villa offers 3 en-suite family bedrooms. There is also a double bedroom suitable for a couple or a couple with a child. There are 2 extra guest bathrooms. FREE airport collection service is included in the price for stays of a minimum of 5 nights. There is a guest lounge with a small bar, TV and a vast selection of English videos and books. A fridge is available for guest's use. The sandy beach (awarded a Blue Flag status for the cleanliness of the water) is 3-5 minutes walk from the villa. Guests can rent beach chairs & sun umbrellas. There is a mini market at the end of the lane.

Extra information: The villa has a daily maid service, a safe, towels and linen provided. In the kitchen, there is a fridge. The living room has a fireplace and seating for 6 people The dining area has a child's highchair and seating for 15 people. There is secure off-street parking.

Outside, there is a garden, parking, 25 garden chairs and 6 beach chairs. Children welcome, long term renters welcome, non smoking only, pets not allowed, suitable for elderly or infirm, wheelchair inaccessible.Guests can enjoy their lunch or evening drink in the wisteria-covered gazebo or just relax enjoying the scent of jasmine & lemons in a deck chair in the garden.

Local activities include cycling, diving, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, sailing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing, Suitable for groups such as ramblers, artists, cyclists.

Villa Maria has en-suite family sized bedrooms. Bedroom 1 sleeps up to 6 people & is fully en-suite (shower, toilet & washbasin); Bedroom 2 sleeps up to 5 people & is partially en-suite (shower & washbasin); there is a seperate bathroom on this floor, Bedroom 3 sleeps up to 4 people & is fully en-suite (shower, toilet & washbasin); Bedroom 4 sleeps up to 2 people (double bed). There is a bathroom with shower, toilet & washbasin nearby.There are 2 extra guest bathrooms. A baby/child minding service is, upon request, subject to availability. There is a guest lounge with a TV & video with a large selection of English videos & books & a small bar. A guest fridge is available in the dining room. There are tea/coffee making facilities in each bedroom. Linen & bath towels are included in the price. There is secure off-street parking. We offer a FREE Naples airport collection service for stays of a minimum of 5 nights. Location: Santa Maria di Castellabate is situated in the beautiful Cilento National Park. It is an ideal base to explore the many attractions this part of Italy has to offer. We personally provide excursions to such places as Pompeii, the Amalfi Drive, Capri, the Greek temples at Paestum, the Cilento National Park, Velia, Grotto di Castelcivita, Vesuvius & Herculaneum or pay a visit to a local buffalo mozzarella farm. Plan your own itinerary & we will tailor-make excursions to suit your requirements. Santa Maria boasts a wide selection of restaurants, pizzerias (this region is where pizza originated), bars & shops. There are several banks with automatic cash points & car, moped or bicycle rental is also available in the Village. Other local activities include scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, wind surfing, boat hire & snorkeling. Santa Maria is the ideal base for groups interested in painting, walking/rambling (with English speaking guide) or cycling. Italian cooking lessons can be arranged for those interested in local cuisine. We offer discounts for group bookings.
