Location: The apartment is located in Castiglion Fosco in an unspoilt medieval hillside village location. Stunning views both front and rear, wooded hills of chestnut, pine trees, olive groves and terraced vineyards. The views are of the Nestore valley below with ever changing colours of the seasons with poppies, lavender and the umber and ochre hues of tilled earth during autumn. In late summer the valley is a sea of yellow sunflowers. The scenery is stunning and unspoilt. The view to the rear looks across the valley to the village of Collebaldo. Castiglion Fosco, with its typical Umbrian church and 14th century cylindrical lookout tower that is lit up at night, is the larger village and merges in to Collebaldo both are set into the hillside. The region's forests and farms are famous for their truffles, olive oil and pork. Wild boar are plentiful in the surrounding hills
