The Property: Splendidly appointed Villa Linda with beautiful views overlooking the wooded valley and approaches to the lovely hilltop village of Pariana and only 20 minutes from Lucca.

Villa Linda is a large, beautifully appointed detached house on two floors. Sleeps 9 + 2 in 4 double bedrooms, one with a third single bed, plus double sofa bed if required in the dowstairs dining area.

The Villa has a comfortable cool lounge with a balcony off and separate dining room, all on the upper floor along with three of the four bedrooms and two of the three bathrooms. On the ground floor is the fourth bedroom and the third bathroom together with another dining area and a second kitchen. The main bedroom as a beautiful ensuite with tiled bath/shower and marble vanity units, W.C. and bidet.

Extra Information: The two further fully tiled bath/shower rooms each have a W.C., bidet and marble vanity units. The fully equipped kitchens each have a dishwasher, gas/eletric cooker/oven and fridge/freezer.Villa Linda has the following facilities: Barbecue, Sky TV, telephone, Laundry Room with washing machine, tables and chairs outside on the patio for dining al fresco, sunloungers and hammocks for lazing, irons.

The Villa is tiled throughout and has wooden window shutters for coolness and has its own private off road parking area right opposite its shaded garden, shared with the Casa Rita. The double beds are large and extremely comfortable and all sheets, pillows and pillowcases together with bath, hand and tea towels are provided as are soap, toilet rolls, dishwasher powder, washing up liquid, etc.

Location: Pariana, a typical working hilltop Tuscan village with a maze of lovely narrow stone paved streets and clear Tuscan spring water running from the drinking fountain in the square and with a local population of approx 250, is reached by a road winding up from the valley floor at Collodi, the birthplace of Pinocchio, through the chestnut woods and olive groves. The hilltop setting, often with its light breeze, gives welcome relief from the stifling heat built up on the plain below.

Pariana is (600 metres a.s.l.) surrounded by chestnut trees, olive groves and fruit trees. It is a beautiful place to walk around. It is an excellent base from which to visit: -all the arts cities (Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, Vinci, Collodi, Prato, etc. ) -beaches (Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Livorno, Riviera degli Etruschi, Isola d'Elba, etc.) - mountains (Pizzorne, Abetone, Svizzera Pesciatina, Alpi Apunane, etc.) - bath (Terme) of Montecatini Terme and Monsummano Terme.

Nearby is a good supermarket, excellent restaurants (traditional and gourmet), amazing Gellateries (Italian ice cream is out of this world), swimming pool at nearby Country Club Hotel, beautiful beaches 45 mins drive ( Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Isola d'Elba, etc.) and hot spring baths (Terme) at Montecatini Terme and Monsummano Terme. You can explore Florence (55 kms), Pisa (50 kms), Lucca (25 kms), Montecatini (20 kms), Pistoia (30 kms), San Gimignano (90 kms), Vinci (40 kms), Siena (115 kms), Bagni di Lucca and the Garfagnana Region.
