The Property: This is a blessed land! Spectacular views of snow-capped mountains in winter with skiing just one hour away. Summer offers a healthy sun and a vast array of activities - swimming, kayaking, rafting, hiking, fishing, whale watching and more. New beachfront house (sleeps 9) offers all modern and luxurious conveniences in the lap of nature - watch eagles soar and seals play - swim in semi private beach. An unforgettable experience. This is a non smoking property, and is safe for children, with fencing and lockable gates. We now offer our own kayaks and motor dinghies for rent (see notes - rental rates).

Extra information:The house (200 m²) has central heating, telephone, with towels and linen provided. In the kitchen, there is a clothes dryer, dishwasher, freezer, a fridge, microwave, hob, microwave, oven and washing machine. The living room has a sofabed and seating for 9 people The dining area has seating for 9 people. There are 2 bathrooms. There are 3 bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 family bedroom, 1 cot) and they sleep a maximum of 9 people. For entertainment, there is a cd player, a radio, satellite or cable, stereo system, tv and video player.

Outside, there is a balcony, barbecue, garden, motorboat, parking, terrace, 4 bicycles and 8 garden chairs. Children welcome, low allergen environment, non smoking only, pets not allowed.

Local activities include: cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, sailing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, kayaking, hiking, boating.

Location: Nanoose is located on a peninsula on east side of Vancouver island North of Nanaimo and south of Parksville, facing the spectacular British Columbia Coastal mountain range across from the Georgia strait & separating the island from the mainland.

A nature lovers paradise, with wildlife and beach right on your doorstep. World Class fishing and kayaking (owners dinghies w/ motors and 2 kayaks which are available for rent). Schooner cove marina open to public and offers fitness centre with swimming pool, pub, restaurant, private boat rentals and charters, fishing and kayaking. Fairwinds resort & 18 hole golf club only 5 minutes away (next to Schooner cove) offers restaurant and an excellent course. Mt. Washington (now one of Top 10 ski resorts in North America!) offers skiing 60 minutes away & boasts record snowfalls. Day excursions to British Columbia capital, Victoria, with world famous Butchart Gardens. Good whale watching area here and on the west coast at Tofino (magical sense of peace and calm)and Ucleulet. There is surfing on the west coast all year round.

Good shopping is nearby at Nanaimo (25 mins.),which is also the main ferry terminal to property. Inexpensive(£22 adults/£11 child under 12 yrs one way),fast(15 minutes)and spectacular SEA-PLANE travel to Nanaimo harbour from Downtown Vancouver (near cruise ship piers). You are then just 25 minutes from house. Also FLIGHT CONNECTIONS (approx £30 for both adults and children)between Vancouver International airport & Cassidy airport (south of Nanaimo - 45 minutes from house).If coming by CAR then reserve ferry space in summer($15 fee),or travel off peak hours. Travelling: The nearest international airport is Nanaimo at 30 kilometres. The nearest ferry port is 25 km. The nearest motorway junction is 4 km. A car is necessary.

Includes all linen and towels. Use of wooden kayaks £10/hour each plus damage deposit & motor dinghys for £ 5/hour.Security deposit of £150 against damage for rental period.
Use extra floor sleeping 3 persons for total of 9(king-size bed + 1 single) - extra 125 pounds per week for winter or summer. Main floor sleeps max 6 (with extra comfortable double sized sofa bed). Extra floor has extra bathroom and Television in room. Please note that Extra floor is not available for month of August. Changeover day is Saturday
