The Property: A lovely character cape cottage (sleeps 6), with views of the sea from the privacy of your own sun deck, North facing and therefore all day sun. The house has been recently refurbished and has an excellent fully fitted new kitchen, with all Bosch integrated appliances. The house is decorated very stylishly, lovely cream sofas, contemporary furniture. The rooms have high ceilings which add to the character of the house and provide a lovely sense of space. Two of the rooms have French doors leading to outside spaces. Maid service available upon request and can be included in rental, own personal garage for locking up car, sun deck is great for watching the sun sets in front of house. There are books to read, tourist guides, music, even a printer if you are travelling with laptop, telephone for local calls and receiving calls, satellite TV with international channels. Highly recommend the naturally secluded outside hot shower - very relaxing. A baby travel cot is available, as is a high chair.

Extra information: The cottage (100 m²) has a telephone, a sunbed, with towels and linen provided. In the kitchen, there is a 4 ring stove, dishwasher, freezer, a fridge, grill, hob, microwave, microwave, oven and washing machine. The living room has a fireplace and seating for 6 people The dining area has a child's highchair and seating for 8 people. There is 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. There are 3 bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 twin, 1 cot) and they sleep a maximum of 6 people. For entertainment, there is an audio tape player, a cd player, a radio, satellite or cable, stereo system, and television.

Hot outside shower is wonderful, small courtyard garden with table for 6 with additional chairs inside, house has beach umbrellas and beach baskets, cool boxes, rugs for concerts in park, childrens paddling pool, travel cot, toys in garage if wanted for under 5s, excellent security, garage with remote control.

Outside, there is a balcony, barbecue, garden, parking, 8 garden chairs and 3 beach chairs. Children welcome, long term renters welcome, pets not allowed, unsuitable for elderly or infirm, wheelchair inaccessible.

Local activities include: cycling, diving, fishing, golf, mountaineering, paragliding, roller blading, sailing, surfing, swimming, walking, wind-surfing, whale watching, sunset cruising, sundowners, beach, helicopter tours, harbour tours, nighclubs.

Location: Upper Seapoint is on the Atlantic Seaboard, which is considered a very central location from Cape Town and all it has to offer. Sea Point is a vibrant area with a variety of restaurants, shops, car hire. Within a 10 minute drive you are in Cape Town, the Waterfront, Camps Bay, the famous Clifton Beaches. The Cable Car is a 15 minute drive. Best beaches are Camps Bay, Clifton, Llandudno, Queens (especially on windy day). The winelands are 45 minutes away, Whale Watching right along the Atlantic Seaboard, with specific recommended sites, Hout Bay is 20 minutes away with the famous Chapman Peak drive, Robbin Island Ferry is 10 minutes, as well as the heliport. The Waterfront shopping centre on the harbour is no more than 10 minutes. Great promenande in Seapoint for running, cycling or roller blading. World class restaurants nearby, Beluga, Blues, Villamora and a few personal favourites And Lemon, Africa Cafe, Tuscany Prawn

Travelling: The nearest international airport is Cape Town International Airport at 20 kilometres. The nearest beach is 800 metres. The nearest ferry port is Cape Town Harbour at 3 kilometres. The nearest railway station is Cape Town Central at 5 kilometres. The nearest motorway junction is N1,N2, N3 at 3 kilometres. A car is recommended.
